    Outstanding Work in Religious Liberty Recognized at GC

    In an effort to show appreciation and recognize the outstanding work by Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) around the world, the department of PARL of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists hosted a special luncheon on July 8, 2015 during the 60th General Conference Session in San Antonio, Texas.

    Mass Melodies Of Freedom

    Saturday's highly publicised inaugural Festival of Religious Freedom closed with a high-energy concert. The performers, a mass choir of 150 voices and select vocalists, were at times spirited and at others meditative, with songs that had the congregation in spiritual jubilation both inside and outside the National Arena.

    In Jamaica, Adventist Church celebrates religious freedom and launches National Religious Liberty Association

    The Seventh-day Adventist Church has opened a Jamaican chapter of its International Religious Liberty Association, which defends the rights of all faiths, at a festival attended by senior government officials and thousands of other people in Kingston. Leaders of the chapter, called the National Religious Liberty Association, said the group was needed because Jamaicans should not take their current religious freedom for granted.
