On Wednesday July 26, 2017, forty four missionaries including some parents headed to the Norman Manley International Airport where they boarded Copa Airline for destination Panama. The group, led by Elder Claudette Genas, Family, Women and Children’s Ministries Director, EJC, was in high spirit as her hope for this mission is to increase the number of children and youth who will be energized and motivated to assist in evangelizing the world for Christ.

It was with a sense of pride and accomplishment that the brethren of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in August Town worshipped in the recently spruced up sanctuary on Sabbath July 8, 2017 (When the church hosted Zone 2 Youth Federation Day). From July 2-10, 2017, the normally quite grounds of the church yard was transformed into a beehive of activity among the members, community volunteers and the members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church from Phenix City in Alabama, USA who undertook several major tasks to spruce up the church building.
