    On the second day of the second (first quinquennial) session of the Jamaica Union Conference (JAMU) held at the Mandeville SDA Church on Wednesday December 2, 2015, the nominating committee recommended and the delegates voted to re-elect Pastor Everett Brown to continue as president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Jamaica for the next five years.
