The Seaforth Sports Club received special recognition by the Seaforth SDA Church on Thursday June 15, 2017 as their football team emerged cup holders of the St. Thomas Major League 2017. Certificates of Recognition were presented to the 24 member team and 5 members of the Management staff.

“Ready, Set, Go!!!” was the command given to –over one thousand three hundred runners and walkers who jetted from the starting line to the specified route during the annual 5k / 1.5 k Health Run / Walk which was rebranded this year as the “Now is the Time” Health Run/Walk to bring more awareness to the Now is the Time Family and Health Series which began the day before on June 10, 2017.

Mavis saw that she was at a crossroads, and she ultimately decided to run the business by herself.

One hundred and seventy five clients received free medical attention at the Good Samaritan Inn (GSI) from medical doctors and students from Nova Southeastern University (NSU) who were on their seventeenth mission trip to the island to provide free medical care to the less fortunate.
