We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Family Life Educators Certification (FLEC), a collaborative effort by the Jamaica Union Conference and the East Jamaica Conference Family Ministries department. Held at the Kencot V.H. Percy Center and the EJC Boardroom, this transformative event unfolded from October to November 2023, leaving a lasting impact on all those who participated.
The seminar aimed to equip individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to become effective Family Life Educators, empowering them to strengthen families within our church and communities. The comprehensive program covered a wide range of topics, including communication skills, conflict resolution, parenting strategies, and marital wellness.

Participants were engaged in dynamic sessions, workshops, and discussions led by experienced facilitators from the Jamaica Union Conference and the East Jamaica Conference Family Ministries department. Presenters include Pastor Roy Dennis, Dr. Lorraine Vernal, Pastor Adrian Johnson, Elder Claudette Genas, Dr. Kraig Radlin, and Mrs. Venese Roberts.
We are proud to share that over 30 dedicated individuals successfully completed the course, marking a significant milestone for the program. These graduates now stand ready to contribute positively to our churches and communities by promoting healthy family dynamics and providing valuable support to those in need.

The closing ceremony was a joyous occasion, filled with heartfelt speeches, expressions of gratitude, and a palpable sense of accomplishment. Participants received certificates of completion, symbolizing their commitment to enhancing family life in Jamaica.
