Notice of the East Jamaica Conference
7th Quadrennial Session
Notice is hereby given that the Seventh Quadrennial Session of the East Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists will be held at the Kencot Seventh-day Adventist Church, 10–12 Osbourne Road, Kingston 5, Jamaica, on Wednesday, July 8, and Thursday, July 9, 2026.
The opening ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Theme: “Mission First: Living According to Prophecy”
Registration will commence on Wednesday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the V. H. Percy Centre.
This Session is convened to:
- Receive reports from the Officers and Departmental Directors.
- Elect Officers and Departmental Directors for the next quadrennium.
- Consider revisions and changes to the Conference’s Constitution and Bylaws.
- Transact such other business as may be placed before the delegates.
The Constitution of the East Jamaica Conference, Article III, Section 1(a), states:
Regular Delegates – All delegates accredited by any of the organized churches of the Conference. Each church shall be entitled to one (1) delegate for the organization and one (1) additional delegate for each five hundred (500) members, or major fraction thereof, beyond the first two hundred fifty-one (251) members, provided the delegate holds membership in the local church that accredits them.
